Tanks and storage
What information is needed for a stainless steel tank quotation?
Prepare your tank enquiry by gathering the fluid, capacity, operating conditions and layout information.
Start with the intended use
Tank capacity in litres may not be enough to assess an enquiry. The stored fluid, how the tank will be used and its location in the facility also matter. Share the information you have and clearly identify values that have not yet been determined instead of estimating them.
- The product or fluid to be stored
- Required working volume and total volume, if available
- Operating temperature and pressure/vacuum conditions, if known
Include layout and connection details
Drawings or photographs can show the installation space and access conditions. Vertical or horizontal orientation, inlet and outlet connections, and any additional equipment requirements help define the scope of the quotation.
- Available height, width and delivery access route
- Locations of inlet, outlet, drain and other connections
- Any requirements for material, insulation, a jacket or an agitator
Summarise your enquiry in one message
Send the product name, application, required dimensions and drawing together. You can also include the delivery location and desired project date. The manufacturing scope and suitable solution will be discussed based on the information provided.
