How to use
Enter outside dimensions A and B for L, or A, base B and leg C for U. Measure to the theoretical outside intersections; every bend is 90°.
Example calculation
A = 50, B = 100, C = 50, t = 2, R = 2 mm; K = 0.4 → L ≈ 146.39823 mm; U ≈ 192.79646 mm.
Calculation method
L: Lflat = A + B − BD U: Lflat = A + B + C − 2BD θ = 90°
Calculation limits
U bends share the same radius and K. Legs must accommodate the radii. Relief cuts, springback and tool access are excluded.
