How to use
Choose a conversion direction. Enter the amount in litres or kilograms as selected, and the liquid density in kg/L.
Example calculation
At a density of 1 kg/L, 100 litres has a mass of 100 kg; at the same density, 100 kg occupies 100 litres.
Calculation method
m = Vρ; V = m / ρ (V: L; m: kg; ρ: kg/L)
Calculation limits
Density depends on the liquid, temperature and composition. The default 1 kg/L does not apply to every liquid. Packaging mass is excluded.
