SVG shape nesting

Arrange uploaded SVG parts on sheets to try to reduce unused area.

How to use

Files are processed on your device and are not uploaded. Up to 25 MB per file. SVG: 1 MB total, at most 50 parts.

Choose a file or open the example.

How to use

Select one or more SVG files. Each top-level closed shape is a part; grouped shapes move together. Enter scale, copies, sheet size and spacing, then nest.

Example calculation

The example places three different closed parts on a 160 × 100 mm sheet.

Calculation limits

Limits: 1 MB of SVG files in total, 50 parts and 10 sheets. A time-bounded, conservative grid heuristic; an optimal solution is not guaranteed. Curves are rasterized; utilization is approximate and extra clearance depends on resolution. Absolute length units in coordinates are supported. CSS-defined geometry, root SVG transforms, text, images, open paths, external resources and masks are unsupported. Verify scale and drawing before cutting.
