Example calculation
Transferring 1000 litres at a constant 50 L/min takes 20 minutes, or approximately 0.333 hours.
Calculation method
t = V / Q (V: L; Q: L/min; t: min); t[h] = t[min] / 60
Calculation limits
Assumes a constant flow rate throughout. Does not model changing liquid head during gravity draining, pump curves, interruptions or simultaneous inflow and outflow.
