About Shell-and-tube heat exchanger
In a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, one fluid flows through the tubes and the other through the shell side. Heat is transferred between the two fluids through the tube surfaces.
Tube, shell and connection dimensions are determined by operating pressure and fluid properties. Applications include heating, cooling, condensation and waste heat recovery.
